There are many interesting ways to make math a part of summer fun. Below are activity ideas that you and your child can do together. The activities cover different math ideas and vary by difficulty level. There are also entertaining and challenging math games from FAMILY MATH for two or more players.

Empire State Building In this activity, your child explores scale and proportion by making scale drawings of the Empire State Building. This activity builds skills in Number Sense and Operations and Measurement.   Perfect Squares In this activity, your child connects number and geometry while exploring perfect squares. This activity builds skills in Geometry and Algebra.   Playing Cards In this activity, your child investigates probabilities using a deck of cards. This activity builds skills in Statistics and Probability.
